A Day at Anavo Farm

An extraordinary chance to interact with farm animals, learn how to make goat cheese, have a farm-to-table dinner experience, and make both a personal commitment and a meaningful contribution to the nonprofit that raises awareness for humanely-raised meat & dairy.

Happens only 7 times a year, so book your spot today!  April - Oct, on the second Saturday of every month.

Schedule (1:00 pm-9:00 pm):

  • 1:00:  Introductions – to the mission, the intention for the time together, and farm tour

  • 2:00:  Milk the dwarf Nubian goats!

  • 3:00:  Goat cheese making

  • 4:00:  Wine & cheese pairing with local wine maker

  • 5:00:   “Cock”tail Hour Discussion (no cocktails but will have more wine, and just bring in the cock… aka our friendly rooster. Will help educate and inspire around the importance of choosing your meat and dairy wisely, the impact you can have.  (This is possibly where speakers can be slotted.)

  • 6:00:   Feed the animals; freshen up

  • 6:30:  Farm to Table Dinner on the grill -- Chef serves up a local, organic, humanely raised meal in the Anavo way… less meat but higher quality, taking 30% of the plate or total, not 90%.

  • 7:45: Fireside chat with music …. on what commitment we are going to make; participate in a ceremony to help internalize it, then post it to wall (Note: would love a Native involved, would love to have Susan Cummings bespoke happy farm animal amulets as part of this).

  • 8:30:   Goodbyes filled with hugs and gift baskets given out with local products and inspiration on living the Anavo way, every day.

Price:  $250/pp  -- with portion as tax deductible

NOTE:  For comparison’s sake: Tickets for Outstanding in the Field events start at $350 per person (plus a ticketing service fee and sales tax), which includes a reception with wine, beverages and passed appetizers, a farm tour, four seated courses with wine pairings, and all gratuities. The event is usually 4-5 hours.

DETAILS:  20 people max occupancy; must be 21 years or older.

Private tour with photographer

This is a blurb about what to expect when booking a Private Tour with Photographer at Anavo Farm. This blurb needs to be replaced with actual copy that reflects this section.

Here is a bit more filler text so that we can see what the layout will look like in the future. It will look much better with the actual information about this section, of course.

One more blurb, just for good measure. The actual copy will likely be longer and will definitely be more useful.
